When I was at college I noticed that Brazilian population is getting “bigger” and “fatter” because they say they no longer have time to do exercise or to eat properly, so they end up either eating “pre-made” junk food (frozen) or eating too fast (in front of the TV), and very often they do both (they eat junk food in front of the TV) – I must admit that I used to do it too!
The 2 things that worry me the most are the quality of the food and the “lack of time” to do exercises.
The lack of time to do exercise is actually not a lack of time, but a lack of MOTIVATION. With 15 minutes in the morning and 15 on the afternoon or evening you can do a great work out, which would really help you to get more motivated to do your daily things. For example: if you leave in a building and you “need” to take the elevator to get to your home, why don’t you go by the stairs? Because you leave on the 18th floor? Here is the solution: go by stairs until you get tired and then get the elevator (and instead of exiting on your floor, you go to the next floor and go down by stairs)… is it that hard to get done? I know it isn’t, the problem is to GET MOTIVATED to do it.
As for the quality of the food people are eating, it is even harder to change drastically. This process has to be “slow” and gradual (when I say slow: I mean that it has to be on the time necessary for you to adapt). Another thing that you need to know is that changing habits is the hardest thing to do!! I am not going to say that losing weight (with health) is easy, but it is possible!!
